How to Use the Congressional Performance Analysis
- Theme (Dark/Light): Use the theme button to switch between dark mode and light mode—whatever is easiest to read.
- Reset: The Reset button clears all entries and slider settings. Use it only if you want to start over.
- Choose the Chamber: In Office, select whether the person is a Representative (House) or a Senator.
- Enter Name and State (Optional): Enter the member’s name and state. These will be inserted automatically into the letter and social post.
- Rate the 15 categories: Use the sliders to rate performance in each category. Move the slider toward the description that best matches what you’ve observed.
- Not enough info: If you don’t have enough information for a category, click Not enough info in the upper-right corner for that item.
- View Results: Your score and summary will appear in the Results section.
- Copy-ready outputs:
- Click Copy Letter to copy a prewritten letter you can send to the member.
- Click Copy Post to copy a social media post you can share if you choose.
